So I must confess that this was my second time at Artichoke Pizza. While reading about the best bites in NYC, I discovered Artichoke. Given my penchant for pizza, I knew I had to give it a try. Last month I went for dinner for the first time with another friend; my hunger and its deliciousness led me to eat an entire slice in one sitting. I loved it! Naturally, when my best friend came to visit me I dragged her to the East Village for a slice of pie.

Review: Best pizza I have had in the city and in a long time in general. It’s huge and very filling, also slightly greasy. This slice came out hot and fresh, aka gooey and runny. It was the perfect lunch and I hope I can go again before I leave Manhattan! Warning: it can get very addictive and I just found out that they sell it frozen at certain NYC grocery stores. Beware, cheese lovers. Beware.
