Behold, Seasons 52! I’ve always wanted to try it and I finally did. For my best friend’s sister’s birthday, we all went out and sampled a Coral Gables favorite. Seasons 52 is a unique and refreshing break from fattening, unhealthy and mysterious restaurant food; all of their ingredients are seasonal and each meal is under 475 calories. Naturally, I was ecstatic.

Review: Pretty solid food. The salad was a typical caesar salad, nothing overwhelming. It did have different greens, like arugula and romaine, but wasn’t anything like my beloved Sweet Green kale caesar. The dressing was light and the croutons were crunchy, an added bonus. The corn was super delicious- seasoned with parmesan and a chili rub, but a little salty. The dessert was divine! A sweet, sticky little pecan pie with vanilla bean mousse. Aka the perfect way to end a meal. Additionally, I sampled the house hummus (yum!) and the rocky road mini indulgence, which much to my chagrin snuck in a few mini marshmallows. I also tried the trout, which was fabulous but the fish tail creeped me out. Here I’ll add that I recently became pescatarian, an extremely difficult but necessary decision.
