Oh, my lord… I can’t even delve into a thorough background of the Yellow Green Farmers Market because I’m so anxious to rave about the food. Basically, Chillbar is a teeny, gorgeous al fresco restaurant that’s connected to a farmers market in Hollywood. I had never been to the market (which is very odd) but my mother heard about the Chillbar restaurant so we went. And made the best decision of our lives.
Chillbar either makes all of its phenomenal food right there or gets equally fresh, wholesome ingredients at the market right next to it. It’s only open on the weekends for brunch/lunch. It’s the greatest place ever.

Review: This was absurd. First of all, the menu was so overwhelming. Every single option looks so incredible, with such a unique and harmonious pairing of ingredients, that I briefly considered ordering one of everything. Just kidding, but it’s honestly all so amazing. I’ll cut to the chase though. I ordered the Famous Chill Eggs and was blown away. It’s the perfect brunch: white truffle oil polenta, blackened and seasoned salmon, herbed sunny side eggs drizzled with mango chutney, a Greek spinach salad, a multigrain croissant, melted butter and fresh jam. I was in heaven. The salmon was divine, the eggs were superb, the polenta was scrumptious. In all honesty, the croissant was the most out-of-this-world food experience I have had in a long time. It was so grainy, flaky and buttery, especially with the butter and jam. It was an unreal brunch. I also tried the french toast, iced raspberry green tea, ginger lemonade and lavender mimosa. To. Die. For. The servings are huge and satisfying. I can’t wait to return.
