Behold: BITE Beauty, a treasure trove of phenomenal lipsticks with 100% natural ingredients (that you could technically eat…). Although I’m a lifelong Chanel makeup addict, I branch out from time to time with lipstick because it’s my favorite makeup product to experiment with! I do like Sephora, NARS, Buxom and Makeup Forever for lipstick but after Chanel, BITE is my favorite by a landslide.

I first discovered BITE when I was perusing the makeup aisles at Sephora back home. I saw the signs about the organic, vegan ingredients and immediately wanted to try it out as a supporter of natural ingredients and animal rights. To be honest, I was hooked from the moment I tried on “Rosé.”

Over winter break, I decided to treat myself and buy a little mini BITE lipstick kit at the Sephora in Georgetown. It includes “Quince,” “Rhubarb,” “Cranberry” and “Madeira.” The colors are such a perfect array and make for the ideal color variety for all occasions. I’m not even kidding when I say that the Sephora makeup artist had never seen BITE before but fell in love with the brand once she saw me try on all the colors. I think she bought a set soon thereafter…

BITE lipstick is incredible because the natural ingredients provide durable and bright lip color that applies smoothly and lasts for hours on end. The actual lipstick is so creamy and refreshing that I can’t see myself using anything else, aside from Chanel. Do yourself a favor and try out BITE at Sephora!
