It was only a matter of time until I reviewed Le Pain Quotidien. Scrumptious, organic French food in a charming communal table setting? That’s my heaven on earth. Plus, it’s considerably vegetarian-friendly (vegan, too).
Since I first went with my Guest of a Guest editor in February, I’ve been hooked. Today’s post is about the rustic tuna & hummus tartine, but I’ve also had (and naturally loved) the bread basket (WTIH ALL OF THE DELICIOUS SPREADS, I CAN’T GET STARTED ON THEM), brioche, vegan carrot cake, iced soy latte and hot soy latte.

Review: OMG. This is incredible. If you’re a seafood lover who’s looking for a light meal, the tuna and hummus tartine is the perfect option for you. The tuna is so fresh and works in harmony with the white beans, diced tomatoes, basil oil and greens. No single ingredient is overpowering; all of the flavors blend together for a refreshing, light, fresh open-faced sandwich. I’m typically a little particular about seafood because I have an aversion to pungent fish, but this tuna is pretty subdued. I can’t wait to go back and get it again!
