While researching the best cupcake eateries in Manhattan, I discovered Two Little Red Hens Bakery. As I always do, I put it on my running to-do list of places to sample. One day while strolling in the Upper East Side, I realized that I was right by Two Little Red Hens. I walked right in and had the best cupcake in the city to date.

Review: Wow, just wow. In my lifetime, and my relatively short time in NYC, I have both sampled and made countless cupcakes. Taking after my aunt with a singular skill set and discerning taste buds when it comes to baking, I’m very particular. With that said, I absolutely love Two Little Red Hens, where I had the consummate cupcake in the city. The fudge was flavorful and thick, while the vanilla cake was moist and filling. I wish I could explain in words how delicious and refreshing that cupcake was, but I’m confident that the picture above will show it. Good thing I don’t live in Yorkville, because I would be at this bakery every single day.
