It’s no wonder that celebrities are obsessed with Deborah Lippmann’s nail collections. Her shades come in the most stunning colors, boast the cutest names (sometimes created after celebrities) and nearly blind people with their shininess. Once again, I’m considerably faithful to Chanel but sometimes fall under the Deborah Lippmann spell. Who could resist?
But even better than the colors, names and shimmer is the production behind the polishes. Deborah Lippmann products are not tested on animals and are free of toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor and dibutyl phthalate. Plus, they’re enriched with green tea extract and biotin. You can’t possibly find a healthier maker of nail color.
I’ve showed wonderful restraint thus far with purchasing Deborah Lippmann just because I know it’s a slippery slope. But I do love my “Turn Back Time” base coat, “Naked” color and “It’s Raining Men” color. I plan on scoping out the Spring Reveries collection this week at Sephora. How could I not try on “Build Me Up Buttercup,” “Flowers in Her Hair,” “Tip Toe Through the Tulips” or “Spring Buds?” Oops, I think I named almost the entire collection… Just look at them!
